Dear Georgia Residents...
Meet Your New Favorite Therapist!
I am happy to serve Georgia Residents directly as a mental health therapist and help you on your healing journey. The beauty of working with a therapist that has life-coaching skills and tools under their belt is you get the luxury of accountability, creative assignments that help you boost your sense of self and self-esteem, and have a trained professional to work with in a therapeutic space!
At this time I am only accepting clients on a private pay-basis, but will soon update the insurance panels I work with.
Here are some brief points about me as a therapist and the clientele I work with:
-
I was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and understand the pressure of assimilating into American culture. — I work well with minority clients; especially those who are children of immigrants.
-
I am a first-generation college graduate and have a combined 8 years of higher education experience. — I specialize in working with college students who are navigating the stressors of adulthood and the collegiate atmosphere.
-
I have navigated caregiving for my mother who was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 and had it enter remission in 2020. — I work with clients who are undergoing burnout, and compassion fatigue, and who may have a loved one who is battling with a terminal illness.
My Approach
Collaborative, Emotion-focused, Holistic, Mindfulness-based, Gestalt, Existential, Solution-focused.
In a nutshell, I work primarily with adults (18+) who are navigating the following concerns: life transitions, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, career changes, relationship/friendship trauma, women’s issues, men’s issues, childhood abandonment and neglect, self-esteem/self-confidence, and related issues.
